FROM THE CLUB TO THE UNDERGROUND: VOZZ'S ELECTRIFYING EDM

Vozz grew up along the southeastern most border of California and Mexico.  Part of a musical family, Vozz learned trombone, piano, guitar, drums, and played for several years in school marching bands.  Vozz grew up rooted in Latin culture which heavily influenced early tastes and love for story-telling through sound.   

He began his journey with Electronic Dance Music composition also at an early age, studying music theory and electronic music production throughout undergraduate and post-grad studies abroad in the UK.  For several years, Vozz was a behind the scenes sound engineer under an alias, and was a ghost producer creating dance track hits for well known international DJ’s, while working full-time in high-tech software start-ups.  Vozz began learning to DJ in 2008 playing vinyl, and slowly making the jump to CDJ’s and controllers for greater musical range and entertainment possibilities. 

Vozz made the jump to full-time music and publicly facing releases under his own name in 2020 and has since released music with Trax Records, Epsilon, Maniana, and Batuque, with well over 2.5m streams of his music.  Vozz lives in Texas now and you can usually find him curated a vibe on a dance floor, doing what he loves most.   

• Released a remix of Leigh MacNeil's "She's Burning High" on Trax Records, the legendary Chicago-based house music label.
• Completed multiple music production projects and gearing up for upcoming releases with Epsilon Records (March) and Late Night Munchies (May).
• Started an exciting collaboration with Texas-based producer IMAG on a remix project, exploring a minimal tech house sound.
