Moodles is a techno DJ and producer based in Austin, Texas, known for his intense genre-blending sets and deep, lifelong connection to music. Originally from Boston, many of his earliest memories involve playing instruments and collecting music. As a teen, he mastered guitar and bass, and immersed himself in Boston’s vibrant indie rock scene. During the 90s he got his first introduction to underground rave culture, which ignited his passion for techno and house. Iconic artists like Frankie Bones, Jeff Mills, and Richie Hawtin inspired him to dive into DJing and production.

Moving to Austin in 2000, he spent years playing in local rock bands while also producing electronic tracks. The pandemic marked a turning point, allowing him to fully commit to recording and DJing. Expanding his home studio, he developed a unique sound emphasizing an explorative edge, with original pieces focused on modular synth experiments that push the boundaries of techno.
